This post will help you understand how to level up your Pokemon and evolve them when they reach their evolution level.
Leveling up and evolving increases your Pokemon’s stats and makes them much stronger.
As you unlock new maps and reach higher waves, enemies become stronger too.
To defeat them, you will need stronger Pokemon.
Leveling up and evolving is one of the best ways to increase your team’s power.
Let’s learn how it works.
Requirements
You need Gold to level up your Pokemon.
Leveling up costs Gold, and higher levels cost more.
How to Get Gold
- Defeat enemy Pokemon
- The more enemies you defeat, the more Gold you earn
- As waves become harder, enemies give more Gold
So the cycle is:
Defeat enemies → Get Gold → Level up Pokemon → Defeat stronger enemies → Repeat
How to Level Up and Evolve
Step 1
Choose the Pokemon you want to level up.
On the left side of the screen, under your Pokemon list, click Data for that Pokemon.
Step 2
A window will open. Look at the bottom of this window.
Step 3
You will see three level-up options:
- Level Up x1 – Increases 1 level
- Level Up x5 – Increases 5 levels
- Level Up x10 – Increases 10 levels
Next to the level-up buttons, you will also see the level at which your Pokemon will evolve.
Step 4
When you have enough Gold, click one of the level-up options to increase your Pokemon’s level.
When your Pokemon reaches its evolution level, it will evolve automatically.
Important Notes
- The level-up process is the same for every Pokemon
- Each Pokemon needs different amount of Gold to level up
- Every Pokemon has a different evolution level
- Evolution can happen anytime you level up, even during a wave
