This post will guide you on how to get new Pokemon in PokePath TD.
The game has a total of 90 Pokemon, and using different Pokemon can greatly improve your strategy and gameplay.
Each map has different enemies, and the same Pokemon will not work perfectly on every map.
That’s why trying new Pokemon and new team setups is very important.
Let’s begin.
Requirements
When you start the game, you get:
- 1 starter Pokemon
- 50 dollars (called Gold in the game)
Gold is very important because you must buy new Pokemon.
You cannot catch Pokemon in this game.
How to Get More Gold
To get more Gold:
- Play the game
- Defeat enemy Pokemon
- The more enemies you defeat, the more Gold you earn
Once you collect enough Gold, you are ready to buy new Pokemon.
How to Buy New Pokemon
Step 1
In the top-right of the screen, click the Shop icon.
Step 2
A list of items will open.
Step 3
The first item is an Egg.
This Egg gives you one random Pokemon.
- First Egg costs: 10 Gold
- You start with 50 Gold, so you can buy a few at the start
Step 4
After buying the Egg:
- If you have space, the Pokemon goes into your team
- If your team is full, it goes to the Team Selection tab (like the PC in Pokemon games)
Important Notes
- The Egg gives a random Pokemon from the 90 total
- Your starter is already one of them, so you can get the other 89
- The Egg price increases after every purchase
- From 10 Gold to hundreds and then thousands
- You will not get the same Pokemon twice
- If your team is full, new Pokemon go to the Team Selection tab
- Trying different Pokemon on different maps is highly recommended
